Michelle Obama not attending Jimmy Carter's Funeral and The 2025 Inauguration is very inappropriate she hasn't had to face scrutiny for these actions because her husband is Barack Obama. If it were Laura Bush the Left Wing Media would be have had a feast at her expense. I will buy Michelle's excuse of having a scheduling conflict with Carter's Funeral. I don't buy her "Schedule Conflict Excuse" with her not attending the 2025 Presidential Inauguration. On January 20th Barack Obama was inaugurated twice. I think she knows very well that January 20th is inauguration day. Is it because of politics or is because her and Barack are separated but not getting a divorce to save face.
Barack Obama has a history of allowing wild rumors to spread while he could have put out these rumors by presenting evidence (Like the questions about his birth certificate). The rumors about he and Michelle breaking up could probably be squashed if he and Michelle were up front about answering some very good questions. They should not complain about rumors about their marriage when they have clearly caused reason for people to wonder "Are The Obama's Splitting Up".
Michelle Obama did not accompany her husband Barack to the Jimmy Carter's Funeral. Michelle Obama was the only former first lady not to attend the funeral of Jimmy Carter. (Jill Biden, Melania Trump, Hillary Clinton and Laura Busch were present at the funeral of a president). Michelle said that her being absent from Jimmy Carter's funeral is because there was a scheduling conflict. It sounds like me when I didn't have my homework and told the teacher that my dog ate it.
Michelle Obama did not accompany her husband Barack to the Presidential Inauguration. Michelle Obama was the only former first lady to not attend the 2025 Presidential Inauguration. The office of Barack and Michelle Obama released a statement that Barack Obama would be attending the 2025 Presidential Inauguration and did not mention Michelle.
Over the weekend was Michelle Obama's 61st Birthday. On Social Media Barack Obama gave very warm wishes of a Happy Birthday to the love of his life. Very Nice. But sending a message on social media would imply they were not together for Michelles 61st Birthday.
These very disturbing absences by a former first lady have caused rumors on the internet and social media to explode with rumors of Barack and Michelle Obama splitting up. These rumors might make the Obama's feel uncomfortable but these absences of Michelle not being with Barack beg for an explanation. Maybe it is politics that was the reason she didn't attend the 2025 Inauguration. That would be very inappropriate due to her standing as a first lady and not participate in the peaceful transfer of power that this country is accustomed to.
If the reason that Michelle didn't attend the 2025 Inauguration was politics then why did she miss the funeral of Jimmy Carter? How can a funeral of a former president be political? I would not point my finger at Social Media or the Internet as being unfair about these rumors. Its Michelles absences from these events that have fueled the question are the Obama's splitting up ?
Very rarely have the Obama's been seen together. Michelle was out of the public eye after Biden bowed out of the presidential race. Michelle's name was prominently mentioned as a possible nominee for the Democratic Party Ticket. At that point it was also noted that Michelle was not seen in public for months. The rumors are legitimate if you ask me. It's either Michelle is failing in her assumed responsibilities as a former first lady or there is a problem with the Obamas marriage. No matter what the setting is when married couples aren't seen together it almost always begs the question of whether the couples are still together. This can be the case for anyone who is married.
In October 2024 there was a wild rumor that Jennifer Aniston was having an affair with Barack Obama. I conjured this up to being not realistic. However, when a couple is not seen together it begs peoples minds to wonder. Maybe this rumor is harsh and lacks credibility. This is what happens when the situations the Obama's have displayed of not being together can cause.
Barack Obama has been living in his beutiful estate in the suburbs of Washington DC. Michelle Obama has been hanging out in Hawaii. Barack seems to be still invested in US Politics. Michelle obviously is enjoying her post political life. The different life paths beg the question to be asked, Are The Obama's Splitting Up ? If couples are going in opposite directions many times that is the reason for a divorce.
In addition the Obama's were very open about having marriage difficulties at times. Michelle expressed in the past that it was difficult for her to be thrust into motherhood while Barack was invested in his political career. The fact that the Obamas have been very open about the challenges that have presented themselves in their marriage is a bit troubling in my view. I am sure that many Presidential Families have had this same issue of raising the kids while the other spouse is leading the free world. The fact that The Obamas have been open about these problems makes me ask "If this is what they are allowing us to know, how much bigger can their marital problems be?"
I would not be surprised if there was some truth to these rumors. I hope not because divorce's can be very ugly. I dont wish anyone to be in an ugly situation. I just wish if these rumors are unfounded that Barack and Michelle Obama would be forthright to put these rumors to rest until that time I expect the rumors to become more abundant. I believe the public deserve a better explanation than a one sentence answer that is very vague at best. Presidents and their families have always been of interest to the public. It comes with the territory as they say.
There is a difference between the rumors of Michelle having a sex change operation and her / his real name is Mike and Barack Obama as being gay. Those are rumors that have no factual basis and I wish that such rhetoric would not exist out of common decency. But, Like I outlined above. Serious questions about whether the Obamas are splitting up are legitimate whether true or false.
