In a bold and justified move, Israel has cut off electricity to the Gaza Strip, shutting down a desalination plant that provides drinking water. While some critics are quick to frame this as a humanitarian crisis, the reality is that this decision is a necessary and strategic step in Israel’s ongoing battle against Hamas—a terrorist organization that has repeatedly prioritized warfare over the well-being of its own people.
Hamas Is to Blame for Gaza’s Suffering
For years, Hamas has mismanaged Gaza, funneling international aid into its terror infrastructure instead of using it to improve the lives of ordinary Palestinians. Billions of dollars in foreign assistance have been squandered on rockets, attack tunnels, and weapons smuggling rather than schools, hospitals, and power plants.
Israel’s decision to cut off electricity is not an attack on innocent civilians—it is a direct response to Hamas’s relentless aggression. Every time Hamas fires rockets at Israeli cities, they do so knowing full well that their actions will provoke a strong response. Yet, they continue to endanger their own people, using them as human shields and then crying "humanitarian crisis" when Israel takes necessary defensive measures.
No Nation Would Tolerate Endless Attacks
Imagine if Mexico launched rockets into Texas daily. Would the United States continue supplying power and resources to those responsible? Absolutely not. Israel is under no obligation to provide utilities to a territory governed by a terrorist regime actively working to destroy it. The idea that Israel should be responsible for sustaining the infrastructure of its sworn enemy is absurd.
By cutting off electricity, Israel is sending a clear message: if Hamas insists on waging war, they will bear the full consequences. The people of Gaza have the power to change their fate—not by blaming Israel, but by rejecting Hamas’s rule and demanding leaders who prioritize peace over destruction.
The International Community’s Double Standard
Predictably, the usual voices—leftist media, the United Nations, and so-called human rights organizations—are condemning Israel while ignoring Hamas’s role in creating this crisis. Where is the outrage when Hamas steals electricity, diverts humanitarian aid, or launches rockets from civilian areas? Why does the world expect Israel to sustain a terrorist state at its own expense?
Israel has the right to defend itself and to deny resources to those who seek its destruction. If Hamas truly cared about its people, it would surrender its weapons, stop attacking Israel, and focus on building a better future. Until then, Israel must continue to take whatever steps necessary to protect its citizens, even if that means cutting off power to a terrorist-controlled territory.
Once a man asked Rabbi Meir Kahane a question. Why can't we sit down with the Arabs with coffee and cake and work the problem out? Rabbi Meir Kahane Answered quoting Moshe Arons. "Sir this is The Middle East not The Middle West. Thats right its the Middle East. And that is what the Arabs understand. If you're good to them you're not good, your weak. And if you're weak you're dead. And if you're strong, they listen to you. I don't Expect them to love me.I'm not the kind of Jew that walks around begging people to love him. You know when people loves us? After every Holocaust. That's when they love us. That's when they love us. That's when they give us a a plaque and monuments and Jimmy Carter gives us a Holocaust Commision. I am tired of saying Kaddish (Prayer for the dead). And I am tired of plaques. I don't want love I want respect".
