Zelensky’s White House Circus: Dressed Like a Clown, Shamed by Trump and Vance
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky once again proved he has no sense of decorum, arriving at the White House dressed like he was headed for a casual day at the beach rather than a meeting with the leader of the free world. His signature olive-green hoodie and cargo pants combo, which might be appropriate for a war zone, looked completely out of place in the halls of American power. It’s hard to take a man seriously when he refuses to show even the slightest respect for the occasion.
This did not go unnoticed by America First leaders. Senator J.D. Vance and former President Donald Trump both called out Zelensky—not just for his sloppy wardrobe, but for his complete lack of gratitude. Despite begging for billions more in U.S. taxpayer dollars, Zelensky didn’t even bother to say “thank you” during his visit. Instead, he acted as if endless American aid was his birthright.
Trump, who has long been skeptical of the blank checks flowing to Ukraine, reportedly found Zelensky’s arrogance infuriating. Vance was even more direct, slamming the Ukrainian leader for treating America like an ATM while failing to acknowledge the sacrifices American taxpayers have made to prop up his country.
With Americans struggling under Biden’s disastrous economy, people are growing tired of funding a foreign war with no clear end in sight. Zelensky’s refusal to show even basic gratitude only reinforces the growing sentiment that it’s time to put America first.
